I got the just-released KDE LiveCD version of Fedora 9 yesterday and played with it a bit. I will do a more thorough review later.
For now:
1] KDE 4.03! If you haven't seem KDE 4 yet, here is an opportunity.
2] Not very good as a Live CD. Pig slow, even on my AMD dual-core machine with 2 GB RAM. I could not locate or mount most of my 30 partitions on 3 HDDs.
3] Visually nice, excellent automatic network config and completely automatic screen res set to 1440x900 for my SyncMaster widescreen flat panel.
4] Tried to install it twice, and the install aborted twice.
. . . more to come
