NEW LINUX WEBSITE coming soon

Postby SilverBear on Wed Jun 17, 2009 5:59 pm

Today the SBLinux website has gone dormant.
After two years of development, SBLinux.org was getting to be a site in need of an overhaul. Time to clear out deadwood and switch over to the new website design that's been in the works for a few months. So why not a new name?
The new Site is intended to assist people who want to be able to take charge of their computing experience with a GNU/Linux operating system, based on Free, Open-Source Software. So the name will reflect the mission.

SBLinux.org may come back, reincarnated as Linux distro-junkie funstuff --like we started doing with the Exploring Arch Linux section. The new site is going to be more targeted to getting people up to speed on how to set up an efficient multi-boot GNU/Linux desktop computer.

So what's the new name, the new URL?
It's a secret. So far only my new hosting sysadmin, Peregrine, knows. As soon as the bugs are ironed out and I have the page framework uploaded, I'll make another announcement.
:D

Thanx 4 your patience!
