Hello all!
It seems hard to believe that it's June already.
Unfortunately for this forum, and the SBLinux.org main site, I became rather ill last February, not long after I helped Jerry wrap up the last revision to the Mepis 8 User's Manual. Bronchitis developed into pleurisy and I've been very slow to recover. Sorry for ignoring everyone since then, but I haven't had the energy to get out of bed on a lot of days.
But the warm weather is helping!
And the good news is that I'm recommencing my revision of the SBLinux.org website. In addition to a snazzy new site design --which was mostly complete back in March, but not implemented yet-- I'm revising all my "How-To" type articles based on input from you SBLinux.org members. Some suggestions I'm incorporating have been made here on the Forum, some via email.
The goal is to provide a clear path for people to go from GNU/Linux Newbie to an intermediate-strength user. Combining on-site tutorials and links to the best of other Linux websites, I hope the new SBLinux.org will justify the patience you folks have had with this broken-down old Bear!
I'm counting on you guys to hold my feet to the fire, so I'm saying I plan to have the revised SBLinux.org up by the first of July.
thanks,
SilverBear
