The 2008-04 release is not out yet, but if the Sid repositories continue to remain relatively stable and slh gets a kernel running that he is happy with, it may not be very long before we see the next sidux update.

Keep in mind that you need not install sidux more than once. It is a true rolling release, which means you can upgrade it at any time and have the current software available to you. If you want the appearance changes that go with each release, it is possible to pull in the latest appearance changes and make modest configuration changes to view those changes. The sidux forums have good tidbits on how to accomplish such feats. Start at the sidux forum and poke around --- good sources of information there.
