MEPIS-8.0.06 is up at the public mirrors now.
Put up a 32 bit torrent at Linuxtrackers;

Why does the Where to Download Mepis Page at mepis.org point to tuxdistro for the torrents instead of linuxtracker?

I don't think that page has been updated for quite some time, we've been using LinuxTracker for at least a year now.
The age of some of the information on the official mepis.org site is one of the main reasons the mepiscommunity.org web site was created.

I had not been to that page myself before today. When I click on the Linux Tracker dot org. link it takes me to the main log-in page at at Linux Tracker dot org, but not to the actual Mepis torrents page. Is that what you mean? Sorry if I'm being dense. (long day)

The links take me to the Mepis 8.0.00 torrents, rather than the 8.0.06 (latest) version.

The links on the torrents page on mepiscommunity.org haven't been updated yet. For the latest torrent list on LinuxTracker, go to the Editions page on mepiscommunity, a little over half way down on the left, look for download MEPIS, Active Bit-Torrents, click on that. This link is automatically updated, I believe.

I am already seeding the latest versions of Mepis, I just wanted to point out the out of date links so they could be fixed.
