Knoppix v5.3.1 dvd-2008

Hey all, I've been mostly preoccupied getting my 7.0 Mepis reorganised to my liking but did have a chance to download and burn a dvd of the latest Knoppix and take it for a spin. I opted for the kde full version and it uses a whopping 4.1 gig on a 4.7 gig dvd so be sure you have enough disc space if you decide to give it a try. I had to abort 2/3 of the way thru when trying to burn the dvd in k3b as the tmp file maxed out the partition it was on. I managed to shufffle enough space to do the burn and burned at 4x just to be safe and sure.
My first impression is "sweet"..., heavy, but sweet. I really did not spend enough time yet to give more than my first impression though. It feels like a real workhorse with ample candy for anyone who wants it. I recommend to give it a try. cowonjolt
